Insightful article! Particularly considering the job as a product and the employee as customer. This is the essence of improving engagement that has thus far been largely missed by leaders. The best salespeople are those that highlight the value of their product. If presented with a salesperson who tells me what I need, I will generally shut down and look elsewhere. Return to work is a key product feature that needs to be driven by value to employees. Wholeheartedly agree with leveraging workshops both for reimagining design but also for fulfilling the in-person collaboration that we fear will be lost in the remote/ hybrid models that are largely embraced by the employee base!
